Kernel Update 5.4.51 breaks luma python library
I have just tried to run a python program which uses the luma library to drive the dot matrix display. I got an error similar to : Traceback (most recent call last): File "./matrix_demo.py", line 120, in <module> demo(args.cascaded, args.block_orientation, args.rotate) File "./matrix_...

Re: CrowPi2
First I have heard about this, how did you find out ?
Looks like I have missed out on the cheap starter kit with a 4B 4G so unless Elecrow send me a free one for setting up this support site, I will have to leave it as funds can't stretch that far at the moment

Re: Operating systems
Hi, I haven't used Kali on a Raspberry Pi but there is no reason why it shouldn't work. Googling implies it does so what is the error message you are getting ? I will download the latest Kali 2020.2b and have a go on my CrowPi to see what happens.

Re: relay first timer
I only have a rev 1 board and not the rev 2 but I have found an excellent article on wiring a LED to a relay which you may find useful as a starting point. Check out https://osoyoo.com/2017/06/28/raspberry-pi-relay-led/

First Steps
Hi, I thought I would start by detailing my first steps and experiences when using my new CrowPi. After booting up the CrowPi, the first thing I did was to run the apt-get update/upgrade cycle. Unfortunately, this bricked my CrowPi as the process ran out of disc space during the install stage and ma...
